We call our state Alabama the Beautiful for reason. You will see when you arrive just what we mean. We have two beautiful gardens: The Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Aldridge Gardens located in Hoover, Alabama. Hoover is a suburb of Birmingham and is where Rocky Ridge Elementary is located. Students in an Alabama Technology Conference presentation helped to create this Google Earth tour of the attractions in Birmingham. Google Earth Tour Tip: To change tour options, go to TOOLS, OPTIONS, and go to the TOURING tab. You can change the tour pause to pause longer and you can check the box for Show Balloon when tour is paused box. Those that have images will then show for you during the tour.
